About the firm

Founded on a filing cabinet, not a slogan.

Lawyers in Dubai was built by advocates who were tired of client meetings starting with “so what does the law actually say.” We answer that question first, in writing, before we answer anything else.

How we got here

A short, documented history

2011

First license issued

Founding partner Rashid Al Marzooqi opens a two-desk practice in Bur Dubai focused on real estate disputes.

2015

DIFC Courts admission

The firm is admitted to practise before the DIFC Courts, opening representation for free zone and cross-border matters.

2019

Family & criminal desks open

Sara Al Nuaimi and Omar Haddad join as senior counsel, formalising dedicated family and criminal practice groups.

2024

2,300th matter closed

The firm crosses 2,300 resolved matters across property, family, criminal and corporate law.

What we hold ourselves to

Three standards, applied to every file.

Cited, not claimed

Every position we give references the specific federal law, cabinet resolution or court circular it comes from.

One advocate, start to finish

The counsel who takes your call is the counsel who signs your filings — no hand-offs mid-case.

Cost before commitment

You get a written scope and fee estimate before we open a file — not after.
